As a Security Officer for Transport Gate in Wilmington, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery activity, and support inbound and outbound traffic procedures consistent with location requirements.

Observe operational areas for policy violations, damaged property, and/or potential hazards, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
