As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Sunnyvale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and reporting irregularities according to post procedures.

Support order at the location by communicating professionally with staff and visitors, following post instructions, and/or assisting with incident response and de-escalation when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
