ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment

Interpret schematics, prints, diagrams, and oral instructions and apply them to the task at hand.

Troubleshoot and identify hazards and diagnose malfunctioning systems

Perform corrective, preventive maintenance & calibrations

Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation.

Disassemble machines and repairs or replaces broken parts

Perform welding, grinding, and flame cutting activities

Able to work as part of a team and contribute to the maintenance team and facility in general.

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand / power tools and precision-measuring instruments.

Operation of tool room equipment (lathe, mill, drill presses, etc.)

Maintain safe and clean working environment

Comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations

All other duties as assigned by Supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician/machine repairman or associated work

Strong verbal and oral communication skills

Ability to read blueprints/design schematics

Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job

Working knowledge of mechanical systems

Ability to work any shift and overtime as required

Preferred:

Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Relevant certifications

Proven problem-solving & critical thinking skills
