As a Security Officer State Licensed Patrol Associate in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security-related presence, and help to deter incidents through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, entrances, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unusual activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing required logs, reports, and other security-related records.

Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required.

A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
