Our staff bring a diversity of experience to our mission, and we welcome all.ABOUT TOWARD TOMORROWToward Tomorrow Preschool offers a nurturing environment for children two years and nine months to five years of age who have delays in communication, motor skills, and/or social development.At our three locations, we are pleased to offer caring and experienced staff, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers onsite. We serve 150 children.Each child is encouraged to explore, experiment, create, and progress at a rate comfortable for them. We foster the development of positive self-esteem, help promote independence using hands-on activities, and emphasize the development of language, fine and gross motor skills, social interaction, and independence.Enrichment activities, including movement and art, are available and vary by location. ABOUT THE BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION STRATEGIST POSITION The Toward Tomorrow Program is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Strategist to assess behavioral challenges, identify triggers, and develop personalized intervention plans for children in our Toward Tomorrow Program. The person selected will work with families, educators, therapists, and other professionals to assess behaviors, monitor progress, and create supportive environments that encourage personal growth and independence. This individual will report to the Toward Tomorrow Director and work closely with three Site Coordinators to foster implementation. Major Responsibilities: Work closely with classroom staff, including teachers, TAs and 1:1 aides, to identify, track, assess, and decrease competing behaviors. Work closely with therapists and classroom staff on assisting with successful transitions with students. Conduct functional and skills based student observations to support the students needs and guide intervention planning. Follow a session plan based on IEP goals and the students needs and collect data on progress towards those goals. Complete detailed notes after each session documenting progress towards IEP goals. Communication with parents and social workers to help foster behavioral plans at home as well as at school. Offer general and specific training for classroom staff on implementing behavioral plans. Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience plus Masters Degree in one of the following or closely related field: Applied Behavior Analysis Special Education Psychology LMSW or LCSW BCBA/LBA is a plus! Salary: Contract position $60 - $65 an hour depending on licensing and experience20 hours/per week, not including school break weeks, beginning 9/2/2026. On a rare occasion it may be necessary to move quickly, run, etc. over smooth to uneven surfaces such as on asphalt, on the playground, or on the grass.
