Job Title: 2nd Shift - Assembler

Job Description

Perform basic assembly and machine loading of material for printed circuit board technology. Conduct basic set-up and operation of automated solder machines that meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate basic assembly ability with Through-Hole Pin Connectors.

Set-up and operate automated equipment using basic computer literacy skills.

Recognize and interpret customer/EBWE prints, WI's/VA's, and Bills of Materials.

Perform enhanced IPC inspection of part placements, solder inspection reflow and through hole, Printed Circuit Board/Component damage, and Final Assembly Inspection.

Handle PB & PB-Free PCA and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

General labor experience.

Soldering skills.

Basic computer literacy.

Strong knowledge of computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

GED or Diploma required.

Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.

Ability to stand for 10 hours straight.

Work Environment

Work in a Tier 1 automotive supplier that manufactures motherboards for electronic car components and lighting fixtures. The company is privately held and centrally located in Muskegon, offering a clean and casual dress code work environment. Transportation is easy to find with bus lines nearby.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
