Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate operates primarily an Order Picker forklift to accurately receive, store, pick, and ship inventory within a busy distribution hub. This role involves working at heights of up to 20 feet, standing for long periods, and using a standing Reach Truck when needed to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities
Operate an Order Picker forklift for the majority of the shift to pick products from shelving at heights of up to 20 feet.
Use a standing Reach Truck as needed to access and pick products for customer orders.
Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities and condition, and place items into appropriate stock locations or shelves.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to order specifications.
Load and unload products from trucks and other vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including labeling, packaging, and staging orders for outbound delivery.
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory by following proper put-away, picking, and stock rotation procedures.
Follow all safety procedures when operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, especially when working at elevated heights.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Demonstrate reliable attendance and timeliness to ensure consistent warehouse operations and on-time order fulfillment.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to operate an Order Picker forklift at heights of up to 20 feet for extended periods.
Experience operating a Reach Truck in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Hands-on experience with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products.
Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and material handling.
Comfort with long periods of standing while operating warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and inventory handling.
Reliable attendance and punctuality to support daily warehouse operations.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures when working with forklifts and other equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a distribution hub or fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and staging.
Familiarity with warehouse inventory practices such as put-away, stock rotation, and order fulfillment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily goals and deadlines.
Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of warehouse tasks as needed.

Work Environment
The role is based in a distribution hub environment focused on receiving inventory, placing it into stock, and picking and shipping products to local customers who need fasteners quickly. Work is primarily performed while standing and operating an Order Picker forklift at heights up to 20 feet, with additional use of a standing Reach Truck as needed. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a one-hour meal period and two 15-minute breaks. The facility observes paid holidays. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment and adherence to all safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
