What's a typical day as a Material Handling Specialist? You'll be:
Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently (no driving responsibilities required)
Performing daily machine checks and following Standard Operating Procedures
Retrieving and cutting wire for customer shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality
Examining wire for defects and removing non-conforming pieces
Placing wire reels on payout spindles, threading wire through feed rolls, and adjusting machine controls as needed
Stacking, storing, and staging merchandise and wire cuts
Maintaining productivity and accuracy standards in all tasks
Reporting any damage to electronic hardware or machines
Supporting a culture of daily safety and compliance with Environmental Health and Safety Rules
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a general knowledge of electrical products (preferred)
Are able to meet deadlines and prioritize job tasks effectively
Demonstrate excellent attendance and are available for overtime as needed
Communicate effectively with co-workers
Possess the ability to perform basic math calculations
Can operate powered material handling equipment (experience preferred)
Have steel-toed boots and are committed to safety
Are organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in all responsibilities
