Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: We are seeking a seasoned Data Center Site Operations Manager to lead server build operations at a hyperscale data center in Ellendale ND. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of server infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing server environments, leading technical teams, and driving continuous improvement in a mission-critical setting. Key Responsibilities - Oversee all aspects of server operations including hardware lifecycle management, provisioning, decommissioning, and break/fix activities. - Lead a team of data center technicians responsible for server deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. - Ensure compliance with EHS standards and promote a culture of safety across all operational activities. - Collaborate with network, storage, and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration and uptime of server infrastructure. - Monitor server performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime. - Manage inventory of server hardware and components, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment. - Develop and enforce SOPs for server operations, including escalation protocols and incident response. - Support capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives in alignment with business growth. - Maintain documentation of server configurations, maintenance schedules, and operational procedures. - Drive operational efficiency through automation, tooling, and process optimization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in data center or server operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong technical knowledge of server hardware, diagnostics, and lifecycle management. - Proven track record of managing teams in a high-availability, large-scale data center environment. - Deep understanding of EHS principles and experience implementing safety programs in technical environments. - Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and asset management platforms. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Preferred Certifications - ITIL, Server+, or similar operations-focused certifications. - OSHA 30 or equivalent EHS certification. - Familiarity with hyperscale environments and industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ASHRAE).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $93000.00 - $139400.00/yr.
We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
