Job Description
This role focuses on assembling a variety of electrical products, ranging from simple electrical cords to more complex mobile generator systems. You will use hand tools and point-to-point wiring techniques to build high-quality products while following detailed instructions and safety standards. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a reliable, flexible approach to daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical products, including electrical cords and mobile generator systems, according to specifications and work instructions.
Perform point-to-point wiring to connect components accurately and safely.
Strip wires using appropriate tools to prepare them for connections and terminations.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, tape measures, wire strippers, and utility knives to complete assembly tasks.
Inspect assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper function, making adjustments as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures throughout the assembly process.
Collaborate with the assembly supervisor and team members to meet production goals and timelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.
Communicate any issues, defects, or material shortages to the supervisor promptly.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience with point-to-point wiring in an assembly or related environment.
Ability to strip wires safely and accurately using appropriate tools.
Proficiency with basic hand tools, including screwdrivers, tape measures, wire strippers, and utility knives.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate wiring and assembly.
Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.
Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and products.
Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality suited to working in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in electrical assembly, production, or a similar hands-on role is beneficial.
Comfort working with electrical components and wiring in a production setting.
Ability to read and follow basic instructions, diagrams, or layouts.
Strong problem-solving mindset and readiness to ask questions when clarification is needed.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You will work in a production and assembly environment focused on building electrical products. Daily work involves standing, using hand tools such as screwdrivers, tape measures, wire strippers, and utility knives, and handling electrical wiring and components. The setting emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with direct interaction with an assembly supervisor and other assembly personnel.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr.
