Job Title: Construction Laborer - Framers
Job Description
This role supports a highly automated, state-of-the-art volumetric modular construction facility by performing framing and general construction tasks using hand and power tools. You will help build top-quality, affordable housing in an indoor, permanent location while working closely with a collaborative team that embraces innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Perform framing and general construction tasks in an off-site volumetric modular factory environment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively to complete daily production activities.
Read and interpret tape measurements accurately down to 1/16 of an inch to ensure precise construction and assembly.
Follow established production processes, instructions, and strategies to maintain a stable production phase and high up-time of factory machinery.
Support the operation of automated equipment and robots by preparing materials, staging components, and completing manual tasks that complement automated workflows.
Inspect work for accuracy and quality, demonstrating strong attention to detail in all tasks.
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing better methods, processes, and workflows to enhance team performance.
Troubleshoot basic issues in your work area and demonstrate a self-starting approach to resolving problems.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and project timelines.
Promote and uphold company values in all interactions, contributing to a positive and supportive culture.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform physically active tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and regularly lifting 50+ pounds as part of daily work.
Essential Skills
Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tooling in a construction, production, or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail when measuring, cutting, assembling, and inspecting materials.
General labor or construction experience, including familiarity with carpentry and framing tasks.
Comfort using power tools and other construction equipment safely and correctly.
Proven ability to problem-solve and self-start without constant supervision.
Strong drive to maintain stable production phases and high up-time of factory machinery.
Ability to follow processes, instructions, and strategies consistently to improve team performance.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a production, manufacturing, or modular construction environment.
Background using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools in carpentry or framing applications.

Work Environment
You will work in a state-of-the-art, fully automated volumetric modular facility located in Nampa, ID, where robots perform a majority of the heavy work and construction takes place indoors in a permanent location. The environment is highly active and hands-on, requiring regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting 50+ pounds. You will be assigned to a specific department determined during the interview process, working alongside advanced automation and robotics. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
