This Senior Project Manager role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects within a hybrid work model based in Boston, MA. You will oversee the full project lifecycle-from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery-while collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position focuses on delivering exceptional project management services, strengthening client relationships, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across diverse commercial real estate projects.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional project management services across all assigned projects.
Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including detailed planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align expectations and ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with defined quality standards.
Provide clear leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering team members to perform at a high level.
Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates, ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, actively listening to understand their goals and objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations that support their strategic priorities.
Champion a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging within project teams and across the organization.
Ensure compliance with relevant construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage documentation, and report on key metrics.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and enhanced project delivery.
Support change management initiatives related to project implementation and process improvements.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
PMP certification or an equivalent project management certification.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional project teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in construction management and commercial construction projects.
Solid understanding of engineering and construction-related disciplines relevant to project delivery.
Proficiency in project management software and tools to support planning, tracking, and reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience leading projects across multiple sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and healthcare.
Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation within project environments.
Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Background in construction management, construction, project management, engineering, and commercial construction.
Ability to build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid work model based in Boston, MA, combining on-site presence with remote work as appropriate to project needs. You will operate in a professional environment focused on commercial real estate and construction projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, architecture, and construction management professionals. The position involves regular interaction with clients and stakeholders, as well as coordination with contractors and vendors. You will use modern project management software and tools to plan, track, and report on project progress. The work setting emphasizes collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging, with an expectation of professional attire when on-site or meeting with clients. Projects may require occasional visits to construction sites, where adherence to safety protocols and appropriate site-specific attire is expected.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr.
