Temporary Accounting Clerk - Part Time

Our client is seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk - Part Time/Entry Level to join their team. As a Temporary Accounting Clerk - you will be part of the accounting department supporting the administrative and data entry functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Accounting Clerk - Part Time/Entry Level

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $17-$19/Hr DOE

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, approximately 20 hours per week
Target schedule: mornings (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM preferred)
Flexible start times possible (e.g., 9:00-1:00 or 10:00-2:00 if needed)
Opportunity for additional hours beyond 20 per week if business needs allow

Assignment Length:
Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with potential to extend up to 1 year
Target start date: As soon as possible

What's the Job?

Perform high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy

Scan and upload paperwork into internal systems

Prepare and match supporting documentation for invoice processing

Enter PTO request paperwork into Excel tracking spreadsheets

Submit invoices into supplier portals and provide general administrative support to the accounting team

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

Ability to perform high-volume data entry with accuracy

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
