Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US CYBERCOM - Ft. Meade.This is an obligated position. Responsibilities Collaborates with other cyberspace contingency and operations planning SM Es. Provides expert consulting support to and actively participates in experiments, demonstrations, training. Provides technical and analytical direction/oversight for team members' execution of cyber operations. Applies functional expertise and broad knowledge of the supported customer community's operational requirements and parameters to lead the team. Provides review and signature of security management actions and documents requiring management-level endorsement. Assigns team resources to ensure that specialized expertise is assigned to highest-priority actions. Follows through to ensure that corrective actions are appropriately implemented. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by at least one year of applicable experience in providing a full range of operational planning, security analysis and administrative services; conducting full spectrum cyber operations planning, execution support, and analysis, advising, and assisting staff planners in identifying/addressing security-related issues.
