Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler
Job Description
This role involves assembling building components in a manufacturing facility, contributing directly to the production of walls, floors, trusses, stairs, and other structural elements. You will work on your feet in a fast-paced environment, using a variety of hand and power tools to meet production quotas while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You will collaborate closely with a small team at assigned stations to build wall panels or trusses under roof in a controlled shop setting.
Responsibilities
Assemble walls, floors, trusses, stairs, and related building components in a manufacturing setting.
Work on an assembly line in teams of 3-4 to build wall panels and trusses according to specifications.
Use tape measures, hand tools, power tools, nail guns, table saws, and other shop tools safely and effectively.
Read and interpret measurements down to 1/8 inch to ensure accurate cuts and assemblies.
Operate machinery and equipment as needed for pre-fabrication of trusses and wall panels.
Follow established safety programs, protocols, and procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a spacious production environment.
Meet or exceed production quotas while maintaining quality standards.
Lift materials up to 75 pounds as needed, typically a few times per shift.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks at each station.
Provide and properly use required personal tools such as a tool belt, tape measure, and utility knife.
Participate in orientation and training, including reviewing a virtual tour of the shop and position.
Work consistent 50-hour weeks, including built-in overtime, while maintaining reliability and punctuality.
Essential Skills
Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/8 inch and successfully pass a tape measure test.
At least 3+ months of experience using nail guns and saws.
Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a mechanical, construction, or manufacturing setting.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production team environment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally (2-3 times per shift).
Ability and willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week.
Willingness to provide basic tools on the first day or purchase them on day one through payroll deduction.
Willingness to review and confirm completion of a virtual tour explaining the shop, position, and company.
Comfort working in an assembly line or mechanical assembly environment.
Ability to follow safety protocols and operate equipment safely.
Reliability, strong work ethic, and a safety-minded approach.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Framing or construction experience is a plus.
Experience with rough carpentry or truss assembly is beneficial.
Experience reading or working from blueprints is a plus.
Experience with forklifts, construction framing, or machine operation is advantageous.
Comfort working in a team environment with 3-4 people per station.
Openness to working in a bilingual environment with available orientation, training, and daily translation support for Spanish-speaking employees.
Ownership of or familiarity with a tool belt, framing hammer (10-24 oz), 25-foot tape measure, and utility knife.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing shop that pre-fabricates trusses and wall panels for field construction teams. The facility is very clean, spacious, well-lit, and temperature-controlled, providing a comfortable and organized production environment. Safety is a core focus, with clearly defined safety programs and protocols that all team members follow. Work is performed in small teams of 3-4 people in designated areas, with multiple buildings on-site depending on the specific product being produced. The role is on second shift, with hours from 4:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, for a 48-hour workweek that includes 8 hours of built-in overtime each week. You will use a variety of tools and equipment, including tool belts, framing hammers, tape measures, utility knives, nail guns, table saws, and other shop tools, all within a structured and safety-conscious environment. A virtual tour of the shop and position is available to help you understand the workspace, processes, and expectations before starting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
