The Patient Centered Solutions team (PCS)
The PCS team leads the industry in the science of measuring the patient experience. We pair strategic consulting expertise with technical scientific knowledge to design and execute scientifically rigorous research that incorporates the patient voice into the development and commercialization of new medicines. This research includes qualitative (e.g., patient interviews, focus groups), quantitative (e.g., clinical outcome assessments (COAs)/patient-reported outcomes (PROs), preference research) and passive (e.g., digital health technology tools) approaches to understand patient, caregiver and physician experiences and expectations of disease and treatment.

Responsibilities
As a Consultant you will be responsible for developing and communicating strategic insights and recommendations to clients, and for the operational aspects of project management in the field of patient-centred solutions. You will be supported by senior colleagues who will help you further develop your project delivery skills. As a Consultant you will typically work on 3-5 projects at the same time and your role will include:
Developing broad scientific skills and further develop consulting skills to generate hypotheses, conduct research and deliver findings in strategically relevant ways to meet client needs
Partnering with Scientific Leads to develop study material and conduct patient-centered research, including literature reviews, interviews with healthcare professionals and patients, and quantitative or qualitative analysis
Creating reports and presentations, and facilitating workshops
Participating in business development and supporting proposal development
Engaging in development of intellectual property for use on future consulting engagements
Leading special initiatives such as knowledge management and process improvement
Managing project workstreams and junior project team members
Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in public health, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, medical anthropology, health economics or another related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in at least 1 of the above fields, including: experience in project management, COA/PRO, patient preference and/or real-world evidence methods
Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques is a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting, facilitating meetings and workshops, and report writing
Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in multi-disciplinary and international teams

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $68,300.00 - $170,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
