Job Title: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Description
This role works in a modern distribution center handling shipping and receiving activities for healthcare products, including sleep apnea machines, breathing treatment masks, and related equipment. You will load and unload trucks, manually pull and verify orders, and ensure products move accurately and safely through the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Perform daily shipping and receiving tasks for healthcare products such as sleep apnea machines, breathing treatment masks, and related items.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using approved methods and equipment.
Manually pull orders by accurately identifying and matching product numbers to pick lists and shipping documents.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, including product @type, quantity, and condition.
Organize, stage, and move products within the warehouse to support efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and packaging healthcare products to maintain product integrity.
Use Crown-specific equipment as required for shipping and receiving activities, following all safety and operating guidelines.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in the warehouse and shipping docks.
Wear required safety gear, including steel-toe footwear and safety vest, and follow all safety rules and protocols.
Participate in and successfully complete an on-site observation or skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience, specifically with Crown equipment.
Proven ability to load and unload trucks in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Experience manually pulling orders and accurately identifying product numbers.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
Capability to work on your feet throughout the shift and handle the physical demands of warehouse work.
Commitment to safety, including consistent use of required protective equipment.
Ability to pass an on-site observation or skills assessment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working in a distribution center handling medical or healthcare products is a plus.
Familiarity with warehouse documentation such as pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels.
Comfort working with Crown-brand warehouse equipment or similar material-handling tools.
Strong reliability and punctuality to support consistent shift coverage.
Ability to work occasional extended hours as needed based on business volume.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very clean, brand-new distribution center designed for efficient shipping and receiving operations. The facility offers a friendly atmosphere and a team-oriented culture, with most full-time employees having advanced from contract-to-hire positions. Steel-toe footwear is required, and a safety vest is provided and must be worn while on the floor. Lockers with locks are available for personal belongings. The typical shifts include 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with potential extension until 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., depending on operational needs. The work involves standing, moving, loading, and unloading throughout the shift in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
