Summary This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Responsibilities As a EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Providing administrative support to the Nuclear Enterprise (NE) front office leadership (Director /SES, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff) and ensures daily mission support for the Nuclear Surety, Nuclear Logistics, Nuclear Oversight, Nuclear Education, and Mission Assurance departments. Serves and the Executive Assistant for the Department by providing liaison and customer support services to the Administrative and management Staff throughout the Directorate. Manages the rigorous routing, tracking, and coordination of critical Agency correspondence using automated tracking systems, while training divisional staff on proper executive standards, packaging, and administrative processes. Chairs personnel and administrative meetings to disseminate guidance and gather feedback and expertly develops and presents high-level strategic briefings to Directorate leadership and key stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison and front-office manager for the Directorate, coordinating complex schedules, VIP visits, official command functions, and high-level interactions with senior DoD, Federal, and foreign government officials. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Managing executive front office operations supporting senior leadership (e.g., Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff), executing administrative and human resources tasks, and utilizing enterprise systems such as ETMS2, DTS, DPMAPs, and SharePoint, as well as overseeing military awards and decoration programs. Formulated, edited, and staffed executive-level reports, issue papers, and packages, while creating and delivering strategic briefings and recommendations to Department of Defense (DoD) and/or DTRA senior leadership based on an expert understanding of DoD and DTRA policies, processes, and organizations. Orchestrated liaison and customer support services for senior leaders and management staff across complex, specialized programs related to mission assurance, nuclear surety, nuclear education, nuclear inspection, or nuclear logistics, effectively balancing competing priorities. Directed the full range of Pre-Award and Post-Award contract administration actions for acquisition programs by applying expert knowledge of government contracting policies and procedures. Assessed administrative systems and overall programs by applying a wide range of analytical methods and techniques to conduct comprehensive studies, engineer process improvements, and advise senior leaders on organizational efficiency.
