Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description
This role focuses on painting custom aluminum parts in an industrial manufacturing environment using liquid paint in a paint booth. You will work on parts hanging from a moving conveyor system while wearing a full protective suit and respirator. The position requires strong attention to safety, teamwork, and flexibility to assist in other production areas when needed.
Responsibilities
Paint custom aluminum parts in an industrial paint booth using liquid paint and spray equipment.
Work with parts hanging on racks on a moving conveyor line, ensuring consistent coverage and quality.
Set up, operate, and clean spray guns and related painting equipment.
Apply paint using techniques compatible with liquid, electrostatic, or similar industrial painting processes.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of a respirator and protective clothing.
Inspect painted parts for quality, finish consistency, and adherence to specifications, and make adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area within the paint booth and surrounding production space.
Collaborate with team members and support other areas of the operation when production needs arise.
Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental standards in the painting process.
Essential Skills
At least 1+ year of industrial painting experience in a manufacturing or auto shop environment.
Hands-on experience with industrial painting using spray guns.
Familiarity with electrostatic paint application processes.
in liquid, powder, or electrostatic painting in an industrial, manufacturing, or auto body setting.
Ability to work safely in a paint booth environment while wearing a full protective suit and respirator.
Strong safety orientation and adherence to safety protocols.
Capability to pass a respirator fit test and comply with associated safety requirements.
Experience working with aluminum parts or similar materials in an industrial setting.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support coworkers as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or auto body paint shop.
Experience with powder coat or electrostatic painting processes, even if current role focuses on liquid paint.
Familiarity with paint booths, ovens, and related industrial painting equipment.
Comfort working with custom parts and varying colors rather than repetitive, identical components.
Strong attention to detail and quality in paint application and finish.
Willingness to assist in other production or shop areas when workloads require additional support.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a clean, large, and well-lit industrial manufacturing facility with a good production flow. The paint area includes a booth and an oven, and it can become very hot, especially when the oven is running. To help manage temperature, the facility uses many fans and opens doors during the summer to improve airflow and keep heat down. You will work exclusively with aluminum parts and use liquid paint with spray guns and related equipment. The role requires wearing a full protective suit and a respirator while painting, with grooming kept compatible with respirator use. The atmosphere is relaxed and team-oriented, and the building is designed to support both productivity and comfort, including access to an on-site gym.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
