Medical Billing Coordinator

Job Description

Manage the daily physician billing process to ensure accurate and timely billing

Serve as a liaison for billing-related questions from patients, physicians, and internal stakeholders

Review billing documentation for accuracy, including CPT and ICD codes

Match billing information with patient demographics and insurance details

Obtain payer authorizations for procedures, imaging, and monitoring services

Prepare, batch, and submit billing information to billing entities

Follow up on missing charges and collaborate with leadership as needed

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance plans, payer rules, and reimbursement requirements

Prepare billing quotes for international patients as needed

Provide general administrative support (faxing, filing, ad hoc projects)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
