Accountant

Must be good with Excel and know how to do Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS!

Must have experience with payroll taxes!

Description

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts

Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes as needed

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Prepare financial reports for management, including profit & loss statements and cash flow reports

Ensure compliance with GAAP and local, state, and federal reporting requirements

Assist with audits and tax preparation by providing documentation and schedules

Monitor and analyze operational costs, including fleet, fuel, and disposal expenses

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in accounting operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakdale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
