Job Description
The Manufacturing Production Associate plays a hands-on role in producing printing inks and supporting manufacturing operations. This position works as part of a two-person team to disassemble, clean, and reassemble ink production equipment and parts, while following established procedures and quality standards. The role requires strong physical capability, attention to detail, and a high level of self-motivation in a fast-paced, customer-focused production environment.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a two-person team to move, disassemble, clean, and reassemble ink production equipment and parts.
Lift, carry, and maneuver parts weighing up to approximately 100 pounds in coordination with a partner.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform mechanical assembly and disassembly tasks.
Dismantle ink production equipment, ensuring large and heavy parts are handled carefully and securely.
Clean dismantled parts by spraying them with a water-based solution to remove residual ink, following established cleaning procedures.
Perform part cleaning tasks in a way that minimizes ink splatter and maintains a clean and organized work area.
Support the production of printing inks by completing assigned manufacturing tasks in a timely manner.
Follow all established quality standards and procedures to ensure production activities meet required specifications.
Maintain a strong focus on safety when handling equipment, tools, and heavy components.
Perform general labor tasks in the manufacturing area as needed, including organizing parts and maintaining cleanliness.
Remain on your feet for the majority of the shift while performing physical and mechanical tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members in a customer-centric, fast-paced production environment.
Adapt to unplanned work needs and changing priorities within the production schedule.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow on the manufacturing floor.
Essential Skills

Comfort working in an environment with strong ink odors and potential minimal ink splatter during cleaning.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric, and collaborative production environment.
Reliability and flexibility to handle unplanned work needs as they arise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No prior manufacturing experience required; training is provided for motivated individuals.
Experience with mechanical assembly, disassembly, or general labor in an industrial setting is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with part cleaning processes or equipment maintenance is a plus.
Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean work area during disassembly and cleaning tasks.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate tasks with a partner on the floor.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility focused on UV printing and ink production. Work takes place primarily in the loading dock and manufacturing areas, where there is a strong smell of ink and occasional minimal ink splatter during cleaning tasks. The position is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet for about 95% of the day and to handle heavy parts as part of a two-person team. Shifts are typically Monday through Friday, with schedules such as 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and there may be options to work extended hours such as 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as needed. The environment is fast-paced, customer-centric, and collaborative, with regular use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment in and around the production and loading dock areas. Dress should be appropriate for industrial work, including attire suitable for physical tasks and exposure to ink and cleaning solutions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
