Accommodation Specialist (Fully Remote)

What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for accommodation requests, you'll guide employees through the process with empathy, efficiency, and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with employees to review medical documentation and determine reasonable workplace accommodations
Manage a high-volume caseload (~150-180 cases), balancing priorities and deadlines
Deliver clear, confident presentations to HR leaders, executives, and employer groups
Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant case documentation
Ensure a frustration-free, customer-focused experience for every employee
Day-to-Day Impact
40% - Respond to new accommodation requests, gather documentation, and assess return-to-work feasibility
35% - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate accommodations, leave options, or separation decisions
15% - Partner with medical, legal, and absence management teams; escalate more complex cases
10% - Support additional projects and team initiatives
You'll play a key role in assessing accommodations of simple to moderately complex scope, helping employees stay productive and supported in their roles.
What You BringRequired Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills with a high degree of empathy
Proven organization and time management in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail
Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accommodation best practices
Preferred (But Not Required)
Familiarity with EEOC guidelines
Experience reviewing or working with medical documentation
Confidence presenting to leadership or leadership groups

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
