Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal production downtime.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose components such as motors, gauges, pumps, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and automated equipment (PLCs and VFDs).

Execute repairs to maintain equipment performance and minimize production downtime.

Essential Skills

3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience, preferably in a food production setting.

Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical components.

Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a maintenance technician.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
