SUMMARY

Transports and delivers parts to customers by applying knowledge of driving regulations, safety standards, and local routes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Ensure reliable transportation to and from work.

Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations (up to 11 driving hours within a 14-hour shift).

Maintain accurate records of duty status in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips; submit inspection reports as required.

Review and verify shipping documents for accuracy and load requirements.

Safely maneuver vehicles in various conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather. This includes backing, navigating tight spaces, and operating in confined areas.

Report all accidents, incidents, or equipment damage immediately.

Promptly report delays caused by breakdowns, weather, traffic, or other emergencies.

Maintain all required compliance records, including mileage logs and hours of service documentation.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
