Mechanical Assembler - Start at $20/hr + Raise in 90 Days | St. Charles

This role is perfect for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys blueprint reading, working with tools, and seeing finished products come together.

What You'll Do

Assemble electrical switchgear cabinets using hand and power tools

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders

Gather materials and components needed for each build

Construct steel cabinet frames and copper bus assemblies

Use measuring tools to ensure accurate builds and proper fit

Perform basic quality checks to ensure high standards are met

Follow clear work instructions and safety guidelines

What You Bring

At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or automotive repair

Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics

Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, impact wrenches, etc.)

Basic math skills (fractions, measurements)

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Pay increase after 90 days

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
