CNC Milling Machinist - Work with Large-Scale Precision & Advanced Technology

What You'll Do
Operate CNC milling machines (vertical and horizontal) to produce precision parts from large castings and forgings
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
Perform setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustments across multiple jobs
Run multiple machines when needed to maximize efficiency and throughput
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet tight tolerances and customer requirements
Troubleshoot and adjust machining processes to maintain quality and consistency
Support production flow by assisting with changeovers and machine adjustments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Communicate effectively with your team to keep production running smoothly
What You Bring
5+ years of CNC milling experience (or equivalent hands-on training and experience)
Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and cutting parameters
Experience working with FANUC controls in a production environment
Ability to machine parts to tight tolerances and fine surface finishes
Blueprint reading skills, including dimensions and tolerances
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
Bonus Experience
Experience machining large castings or forgings
Experience with both horizontal and vertical milling machines
Familiarity with high-mix, high-precision production environments

Work Schedule
Primarily 2nd shift (4:20 PM - 2:50 AM) with a 10% shift premium
Consistent overtime availability, with double time on Sundays
Flexible overtime options depending on your availability
Work Environment
You'll work in a modern, well-maintained facility equipped with over 60 machines, including industry-leading brands like Toyoda, Makino, and Niigata. The shop specializes in machining larger components, offering you the chance to work on impactful, complex projects using advanced CNC technology-all in a clean, safe, and organized setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
