Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports a clean, modern distribution center by performing a variety of warehouse tasks, including shipping and receiving, picking and packing orders, inventory management, and operating material handling equipment. You will work a consistent 12-hour shift schedule on a rotating basis, contributing to accurate order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF (bar-code scan) devices and other warehouse tools.
Support inventory management by counting, organizing, and replenishing stock as needed.
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers/packers in a safe and efficient manner, as trained and authorized.
Use RF (bar-code scan) devices to track inventory, update order status, and ensure accurate documentation.
Delegate tasks and orders to team members when appropriate and communicate clearly to keep workflows on track.
Resolve issues related to order status, such as locating missing items, correcting discrepancies, or escalating problems when needed.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain productivity and meet daily, weekly, and shift-based targets.
Multitask effectively under time constraints, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Generally prefer 0-2 years of experience for entry-level candidates; 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred for more intermediate-level tasks.
Warehouse experience is preferred, including exposure to shipping, receiving, picking, and inventory management.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to use RF (bar-code scan) devices or willingness to learn.
Assertive communication skills with the ability to delegate orders when needed.
Ability to resolve problems related to order status and inventory discrepancies.
Ability to multitask and remain productive under time constraints and in stressful, fast-paced situations.
Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including every other Wednesday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
Experience using pallet jacks and order picker/packer equipment.
Leadership experience or previous responsibility for directing tasks is a plus.
Prior experience in a clean distribution center or similar warehouse environment.
Comfort working with technology and handheld scanning devices.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling.

Work Environment
This role is based in a clean distribution center with a focus on safety, organization, and efficiency. The facility operates on four AM/PM shifts: Sunday through Tuesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with every candidate scheduled to work every other Wednesday. You will work 12-hour shifts and use technologies such as RF (bar-code scan) devices and a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order picker/packer equipment. The environment is fast-paced, with time-sensitive tasks and high-volume workflows, while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
