Global Product Manager - Thermal Services

Role Overview

The Global Product Manager - Thermal Services is responsible for defining, developing, and scaling Vertiv's global thermal lifecycle service portfolio, encompassing project-based services through long-term lifecycle offerings. This role owns the end-to-end service offering strategy for thermal products, ensuring services are standardized, scalable, serviceable, and aligned to customer reliability, efficiency, and uptime outcomes.

The role partners closely with R&D, engineering, thermal product management, regional execution teams, external partners, and digital organizations to translate thermal technology into globally deployable service offerings that regions can consistently sell, deliver, and scale.

Key Responsibilities

Service Portfolio Strategy & Development

Define and own the global thermal services portfolio strategy across the service lifecycle, from project services (e.g., commissioning, startup, validation) to recurring and advanced lifecycle services

Translate customer requirements for uptime, energy efficiency, compliance, and risk reduction into standardized thermal service offerings

Develop clear service definitions, including scope, entitlements, deliverables, and differentiation across service tiers

Global Deployment & Regional Enablement

Lead global rollout of thermal service offerings, ensuring consistent adoption and execution across regions

Develop and maintain standardized service artifacts including:

Statements of Work (SOWs)

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Service delivery playbooks and enablement materials

Balance global standardization with regional flexibility to meet local market, regulatory, and customer requirements

New Service Launch & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with R&D, engineering, and product teams to influence thermal product designs for serviceability, digital readiness, and lifecycle support

Collaborate with regional execution teams and external service partners to define scalable delivery models

Lead introduction of new thermal service offerings through pilots, refinement, and global deployment

Commercialization & Value Pricing

Define value-based pricing frameworks aligned to customer outcomes such as uptime, energy efficiency, asset life extension, and operational risk reduction

Partner with Sales, Finance, and Services leadership to establish pricing guidance, margin expectations, and commercial models

Support sales enablement through clear positioning, value propositions, and customer ROI narratives

Lifecycle Performance Management

Monitor service adoption, execution quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
