Digital Marketing Strategist

Our client in early childhood education is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist for an ongoing contract engagement starting as soon as possible. This is a freelance, 40-hour-per-week role based in Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate is a senior-level self-starter who can step in immediately and keep marketing operations running smoothly during a team transition, with no direct reports. What You'll Do: Maintain day-to-day execution across digital marketing, social media, and brand initiatives Support website updates, campaign management, and vendor relationships Monitor and analyze performance across platforms using Google Analytics and other reporting tools Manage projects and workflows in Monday.com Maintain SOPs and ensure continuity across marketing functions while two full-time roles are being filled Support social media strategy, content, and engagement across platforms What You'll Need: 5+ years of digital marketing experience Proven ability to step into fast-moving environments with minimal ramp-up Strong background in social media management, analytics, and multi-platform engagement Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Sprout Social, WordPress, and Monday.com Knowledge of SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, and campaign management Strong understanding of web metrics, landing page optimization, and digital performance Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Creative Suite Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
