As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rounds in Vinton, LA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 08:00 PMSat04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel, resort, and entertainment environment.

Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest access areas, gaming and entertainment spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access where required, and assist with crowd and traffic flow during peak guest periods, special events, and/or busy operating hours.

Support emergency and medical response procedures by communicating with guests, staff, and first responders, helping to direct people during urgent situations, and following post orders and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
