As a Security Officer - Exterior Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.

Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas for policy compliance, assist with directions and visitor questions, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity.

Support hotel and resort operations by helping with access control, observing deliveries and vendor activity, and communicating professionally with guests, staff, and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
