Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe customer and employee activity, assist with access-related concerns, and/or document security-related incidents.

Support loss prevention efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, following assigned protocols, and/or coordinating with local law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card for Texas only.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
