As a Security Officer Unarmed Day Patrolling in Bensenville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading technology location, where you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 10:30 PMThur06:30 AM - 02:30 PMFri08:30 AM - 04:30 PMSat08:30 AM - 04:30 PMSun11:30 AM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and help to verify that visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors follow site protocols, while reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and suspicious behavior through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
