As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Patrol in Hagerstown, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting discrepancies or suspicious activity.

Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing for damaged property, open doors, unauthorized persons, and/or policy violations, then reporting findings through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
