Summary About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Joint Operations Plans Specialist (Maritime) at USSOUTHCOM Operations Directorate Future Operations Division in Miami, FL. Responsibilities Responsible for planning the coordination of maritime missions to U.S. Southern Command's (USSOUTHCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Serve as a point of contact for deliberate/crisis action planning. Develop maritime correspondence into USSOUTHCOM Concept Plans, Operational Plans, Campaign Plans, and Operations Orders. Coordinate Request for Forces (RFF) in conjunction with Joint Operational Planning and Execution Systems (JOPES). Interpret guidance to collaborate with numerous agencies and sources to assess the impact of the plans and policies on the maritime mission.
