ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Black & McDonald's Kansas City team is growing! If you are an independent, enthusiastic, and driven professional searching for an opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. The Project Administrator/Dispatcher is responsible for supporting the maintenance department with workflow management and field contact.

Reporting to the Maintenance supervisor. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of accuracy and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Main Duties

Responsible for updating work order coding and entering field comments

Assist in managing work order flow/scheduling for all maintenance contracts

Closing out work orders

Work directly with the call centers, customers, and citizens for streetlight & signal issues

Create work orders from multiple sources

Communicate with field personnel regarding repairs

Ensure the dispatch performance criteria of the contracts are met

High customer service level required

Security camera review

Fill in on occasion to cover shifts for other team members

Other duties as required

Employment Requirements

Hours for the shift are Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday 7:00am to 3:00pm, every other weekend.

Additional hours as needed to cover open shifts, including holidays

Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels in the organization and with outside clients.

Must be a self-starter, able to work alone and with others and to handle multiple tasks.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
