Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a behavioral health location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Monitor access points and activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor direction, and adherence to site protocols.

Assist with de-escalation support, observe behavior that may require attention, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders during security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
