As a Security Officer Medical Facility Patrol in Providence, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $24.91 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry where required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.

Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital vaccinations are required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
