As a State Government Facility Security Officer in Lancaster, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and support security-related screening procedures in accordance with post orders and location policies.

Prepare clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant updates with supervisors and/or site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
