A Chick-fil-A team member provides customer service, prepares food, maintains cleanliness, and supports restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Team members greet guests warmly, take orders at the front counter or drive-thru, process payments using the POS system, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations. They ensure orders are accurate, delivered promptly, and maintain a friendly, professional attitude at all times

Food Preparation: Team members prepare and cook menu items according to Chick-fil-A recipes and safety standards. This includes assembling sandwiches, salads, sides, and drinks, performing temperature checks, labeling, and following sanitation guidelines

Restaurant Maintenance: Responsibilities include keeping the dining room, beverage stations, restrooms, and common areas clean, wiping tables, sweeping floors, restocking condiments, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Team members also assist guests with seating, tray service, or special requests

Team Collaboration: Team members work closely with kitchen and service teams, communicate order changes or special requests, and support fellow team members during busy periods. They follow all operational standards, health regulations, and safe work practices

Additional Duties: Depending on the shift, team members may assist with receiving and storing deliveries, managing inventory, and helping train new employees. They may also support team leadership or management tasks as needed

Work Environment and Requirements

Schedule: Typically part-time (20--30 hours per week), with occasional full-time opportunities (up to 40 hours). Flexibility is required during peak hours

Physical Demands: Team members spend most of their shift on their feet, perform repetitive motions, crouch, reach overhead, and work in hot or cold kitchen environments

Skills and Qualities: Strong customer service, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards are essential
