PRODUCTION OPERATORS
2nd Shift Available-$20/hr.
Job Description
The Production Operator performs incoming inspections on products, verifies packaging quality, and completes both hard copy and electronic inspection reports in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports production and packaging activities while maintaining quality standards and following written and verbal work instructions.
Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspection of all products according to established procedures and quality standards.
Visually inspect all packaging for contamination, debris, damage, or other flaws and report any nonconformances.
Accurately complete inspection reports in both hard copy and electronic formats.
Follow written and verbal work instructions to support production, packaging, and inspection activities.
Operate basic production and packaging equipment as needed to support general production tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding product quality, issues, and workflow.
Perform general labor and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support overall manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing work experience preferred, with exposure to production or packaging environments.
Some quality control or inspection experience preferred.
Ability to understand and follow work instructions in writing or verbally.
Ability to accurately complete reports in English, both on paper and electronically.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting products and packaging.
Capability to perform general production, packaging, inspection, machine operation, and general labor tasks.
Ability to lift and handle items weighing around 10 pounds on a constant basis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a loud manufacturing environment is beneficial.
Comfort working in a non-air-conditioned facility.
Willingness to cross-train and learn new tasks within production and quality control.
Ability to work effectively as part of a small team in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment that is loud and not air-conditioned, requiring comfort working in varying temperature conditions. The position is on 2nd shift, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with training provided on the same shift. Daily overtime may be available as needed but is not mandatory beyond a standard 8-hour day. The work involves constant lifting of approximately 10 pounds and regular exposure to typical manufacturing noises. The facility includes both production and warehouse areas that support domestic and international shipping operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
