Summary The position is under the Pathway Program as a student developmental position located in Diagnostic Medicine. Diagnostic Medicine provides diagnostic testing and professional consultation to BVAMC's Medical, Surgical, Open Heart, Neurology, Blind Rehabilitation, Primary Care Clinics, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, Community Services Program, and Research Programs. Results are utilized by physicians in conjunction with a pertinent clinical history and physical examination. Responsibilities The Internship provides managers a ready source of student employees and potential permanent employees upon completion of the program requirements. It also provides the student with work experience directly related to the curriculum studies or career goals while offering eligibility for non-competitive conversion to permanent employment upon completion.
