About AG Warehouse

With over 30 sites across Victoria, Tasmania and Southern NSW, AG Warehouse is one of Australia's largest independent rural retail businesses, backed by Saputo. We support dairy, pasture, horticulture, cropping, sheep, beef and lifestyle market segments with a wide range of merchandise, fertiliser and agronomic services.

Join the Smithton AG Warehouse Team

Join our friendly and growing team as a Senior Rural Sales Assistant in Smithton, TAS. In this role, you will be part of a small, close-knit team on site and over 3,000 colleagues across Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.

Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.

Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.

Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.

Performing general banking tasks.

Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.

About you

Experience in retail and a strong understanding of rural farming, or similar.

Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to build strong relationships.

Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not essential.

Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office.

Forklift license is desirable but not essential
