Property Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicant will act as the property owner\'s agent in all business aspects of the management of the property as a short term vacation rental. Applicant will take note of and report any required maintenance or repairs needed. Maintain detailed financial reports, to include budgets, records of expenses, and income associated with the rental property. Applicant will ensure that rental income is deposited in a bank account of the owner\'s choice. Applicant will be responsible for laundering all towels and bed linens as well as the regular cleaning and vacuuming of the entire house at the conclusion of each short term rental as well as re-stocking consumables such as paper towels, dish detergent, laundry soap which owner will pay for. Applicant will be on call to attend to renter\'s needs at all times whenever the property is rented out and provide renters with a way to contact the applicant. Applicant will note any missing items or damage attributable to the recently departed renters. Must maintain a property manager account on VRBO. Must be fluent in English language: reading, writing, speaking. Applicant must have documented 36 months experience in the hotel and restaurant management business. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen. No smoking or illegal drugs allowed on the premises as per VRBO short term rental rules. Time commitment limited to no more than 40 hours per work week Monday through Friday which shall include daily visits to the property to check on security and general condition. Time on site to be logged in a hard copy ledger maintained by the applicant as well as reported to owner once a week via email on Fridays at the close of the business day. Compensation will be \$15.00 per hour up to 40 hours per week. Submit resume with references along with application. Prepare detailed budgets and financial reports for properties. Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties. Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance. Maintain records of sales, rental or usage activity, special permits issued, maintenance and operating costs, or property availability.
