Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports high-volume warehouse operations by picking bottles, preparing orders, and loading and unloading wine and liquor products on and off trucks during the 3rd shift. You will handle heavy cases, maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep the warehouse organized and ready for shipments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Pick bottles and cases of wine and liquor throughout the warehouse according to order requirements.
Assist drivers by loading and unloading wine and liquor on and off trucks at the warehouse.
Physically lift and move 50-pound cases of wine and liquor and stock them onto warehouse shelves.
Pack customer orders accurately and securely to prepare them for shipment.
Perform order picking, replenishing inventory, and staging products for outbound routes.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while handling products that average 35-55 pounds.
Use RF scanners or similar tools to locate, pick, and track inventory as needed.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including checking in products and organizing outgoing orders.
Maintain general warehouse housekeeping by keeping aisles, shelves, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow safety procedures while working around moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noise levels.
Work consistent 12-hour shifts during peak periods and adjust to changing schedules as business needs evolve.
Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support a busy, time-sensitive operation.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of general labor experience, ideally in a warehouse setting.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50-65 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the shift.
Experience with order picking, packing, and general warehouse production tasks.
Ability to perform loading and unloading of trucks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with inventory handling, including replenishing and warehouse inventory control.
Experience with RF scanners or similar devices for picking and tracking orders.
Proven attendance record and reliability in previous positions.
Comfort working around moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noise.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a consistent basis, especially during busy seasons.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain safe lifting and handling practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment.
Background in general production, warehouse packing, and heavy lifting roles.
Previous exposure to bottle picking or handling fragile products is beneficial.
Experience working in a high-volume, time-sensitive distribution or logistics setting.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and varying shift lengths (8-12 hours).

Work Environment
This role is based in a busy warehouse environment stocked with rows of wine and liquor products. The setting can be dirty and cluttered, especially in the mornings before routes are loaded, and the pace is fast and often chaotic during peak periods. You will frequently work around moving mechanical parts and experience vibrations, with noise levels that can be loud. The position currently operates on 3rd shift with 12-hour schedules, including training from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., then transitioning to 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. during high-demand periods, with the possibility of moving to 8-10 hour shifts as volume decreases. You may work extended stretches around holidays to meet increased demand. Dress code requires non-slip tennis shoes or boots with good traction, along with jeans, pants, or shorts that are not too short or revealing and do not include loose clothing, to support safety and mobility on the warehouse floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
