Overview
We're hiring! The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the shipping and receiving of all materials, both bulk and packaged, while upholding all applicable regulatory, quality, and safety standards. Key duties include, but are not limited to: storing raw and finished goods, picking and staging orders, loading shipments, recording inventory transactions, and filling trucks, trailers, containers, and tankers. All team members are expected to follow established procedures and protocols, comply with instructions, and maintain strict adherence to safety and quality measures to ensure a secure workplace and superior product integrity.
This position will work 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2pm-10:15pm.

Responsibilities
Must be qualified and able to perform all tasks and duties of a Warehouser 1.
Responsible for incoming receipts and verifying all paperwork for inbound/outbound shipments.
Receive materials both physically and via computer system.
Follow all operating procedures and warehousing processes.
Pick orders for customers at multiple warehouse locations.
Responsible for staging and loading all non-bulk shipments.
Perform timely and accurate inventory transactions.
Receive and process Return Goods Authorizations (RGA's).
Coordinate information between shipping/receiving and other departments within Kemin.
Must obtain/maintain stand-up forklift license.
Process LTL Carrier shipments.
Load/unload trucks, trailers, and containers (not including bulk tankers).
Be qualified and able to process UPS and Fed-Ex small package shipments
Handle hazardous materials in high concentration levels exercising extreme caution to ensure there are no accidents.
Ensure all items shipped or received meet quality standards (e.g. properly labeled bags, correct products, lot numbers, and quantities on a pallet, pallets properly stacked, damages, etc.) defined within regulatory and quality standards in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP's).
Must adhere to all safety requirements.
May need to work with driver to ensure the shipment is loaded, balanced, sealed, and secured prior to transport, as applicable to Business Unit.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-3 years of applicable experience.
Knowledge of warehousing operations is essential.
Computer knowledge.
Ability to operate a forklift and other support equipment used in warehousing on material
handling equipment
Must have high level of dependability and good attendance.
Strong safety values.
Must be able to multi-task, have effective problem-solving skills and good math skills.
Ability to use hand tools for normal preventative equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Must have good interpersonal communication.
Ability to analyze, inspect, and calculate orders, purchase orders.
Ability to follow specific protocol for loading/unloading.
Ability to read process flow charts and follow standard operating procedures.
