Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner. These duties include but are not limited to professional development, participation on university committees, task forces, and workgroups, involvement in campus events, and staying current with trends and best practices in the field.
Salary Range: $34.69-$51.45
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of experience as a licensed professional counselor, psychologist, therapist or LICSW in a college/university environment or in a private, or public practice.
Valid Minnesota license in Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by date of hire.
Experienced in providing individual and group therapy services to diverse clients.
Knowledge of crisis intervention methods and practices that are trauma informed.
A Psychotherapist check will be completed in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Chapter 604.2, prior to hire.
Must be eligible for credentialing with multiple health insurance carriers in the event billing for services is implemented.
Preferred Qualification
Master's degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work.
Doctorate in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work.
Experience working in a higher education environment
Experience supporting students from traditionally marginalized and underrepresented populations.
Board Approved supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (BBHT)
