Join the team as a Manufacturing Technician I - Handpiece Repair Technician and help support the repair, maintenance, and quality testing of dental handpieces and small equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Location: Lenexa, KS

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CT

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Work Setup: Onsite

What's a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician I? You'll:

Perform service and repairs on handpieces and small equipment assigned by supervisors

Diagnose equipment failures using test equipment and repair tools

Document repair evaluations, service recommendations, and required replacement parts

Complete preventative maintenance and quality testing to meet company standards

Read and follow work instructions, repair procedures, and technical documentation

Use hand tools, testing devices, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively

Assist with technical support for assigned products when needed

Maintain accurate repair records and service documentation

Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Support production and repair goals while maintaining high quality standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent

Possess basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Can understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Have basic math, computer, and documentation skills

Work effectively with limited supervision

Are willing to learn advanced repair techniques and manufacturing processes

Can work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 20 pounds

Nice-to-have skills:

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or equipment repair

Familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment

Experience working with small mechanical or electrical devices

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of preventative maintenance processes
