As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clinic Patrol in Irving, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions as directed, and communicate with site contacts regarding visitor and employee activity.

Support a professional atmosphere by assisting with directions, de-escalating routine issues when appropriate, and documenting observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
